I have been to Lanzarote, although it is a few years ago, and visited the Cesar Manrique gardens.
It occurred to me that I could use his idea of a painted wall to make some Covid-19 graffitti as this is the topic of the day!
I also wanted to make it sunny and inviting to suggest that there will be good times again.
Je suis allé à Lanzarote, bien que ce soit il y a quelques années, et j'ai visité les jardins de Cesar Manrique.
Il m'est venu à l'esprit que je pouvais utiliser son idée d'un mur peint pour faire des graffitti Covid-19 car c'est le sujet du jour!
Je voulais aussi le rendre ensoleillé et invitant à suggérer qu'il y aura de nouveau de bons moments.
Wow Stephanie, hat a great idea. I have a photo of that wall too and remember it well. You have recreated that incredible vibrant turquoise colour that filled that place too. It made me smile and remember my visit.

(Comme tu as pièce finie ton super tôt, pourrait tu veux passer le reste du temps pendant que nous rattraperons penser à un artiste approprié pour le prochain tour? On n'a pas besoin de savoir jusqu'au 30 Juin, si tu as âges à Bien sûr, tu pourrais toujours faire quelque chose d'autre pour nous si l'envie te prend.

Love the graffiti idea too - so very appropriate for our present situation.
A fantastic piece all around that certainly made me feel more cheerful!
(As you have finished your piece super early, could you like to spend the rest of the time while we catch up thinking of a suitable artist for the next round? We don't need to know until 30th June, so you have ages to decide! Of course, you could always make something else for us too if the mood takes you.

J’aime beaucoup la manière dont tu as du adapter les graffitis à la situation sanitaire actuelle. Et quel contraste entre le calme de la mer turquoise et ce mur aux dessins un peu tourmentés !

I love the brightness of it Stephanie - a ray of hope and sunshine, and such a contrast to what we may be feeling just at present. From what I researched of Manrique's work it fits right it. Well done.
