In one of the comments (cant recall which) someone mentioned a workshop to understand how a particular technique had been undertaken - so agree!  the work, ideas and output are outstanding and so much to learn!
It's going to be amazing seeing it all together and meeting up with everyone.

Dear women,

The 30 June has come and gone and my piece is not ready - I’m still had stitching away! The great thing is I know you all understand and I feel no pressure - it will arrive in its own time. Thank you for being so patient with me.

And a quick message to Claire: you may not feel that all your effort resulted in a ‘super’ piece but I find your work always so thought provoking, so intricate, complex and beautiful and I love that. I find the colours you used and the kaleidoscope effect so effective in taking one element and letting it take you wherever it goes. I find that very liberating and I am so looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Well done.

And hopefully will write soon again with my piece.

Le 30 juin est venu et reparti et ma pièce n’est pas prête - j’ai encore du fil à coudre! Ce qui est bien, c’est que je sais que vous comprenez tous et que je ne ressens aucune pression. Cela arrivera à son heure. Merci d'être si patient avec moi.

Et un petit message à Claire: vous n’allez peut-être pas penser que tous vos efforts ont abouti à une "super" pièce, mais je trouve votre travail toujours aussi provocant, tellement complexe, beau et si beau, et j’adore ça. Je trouve les couleurs que vous avez utilisées et l’effet kaléidoscope si efficaces pour prendre un élément et le laisser vous mener partout. Je trouve cela très libérateur et j'ai tellement hâte de le voir en chair et en os. Bien joué.

Et j'espère écrire bientôt avec mon article.
